Valentine's Day (Yes I am caught up)

Friday started with a program at school for the kids. (nothing to do with Valentine's Day, a patriotic theme for Presidents day.)

Then home to get things gathered to go back to the school for the kids class parties. Hailey made her box at home. Curtis made his bag at school (thank you teacher). The kids loved looking through there valentines and eating the candy.
Friday night we went to Aunt Cherie's house (who was babysitting Brittany's kids while they were on a cruise) to have dinner and decorate cookies.
The kids made there own personal pizzas and the adults had Cafe Rio.
Curtis and Braden
Alexis eating her cookie with help from Nana
(I missed the cutest moment when she picked up the cookie by herself and tried to eat it.)
Jessica taking the one and only bit of her cookie
Saturday was a lazy day. We stayed in and warm. The kids never did get out of there pajamas. Adam and I went to lunch at Olive Garden and picked up a movie for the kids. They watched there movie before going to bed. Happy days and Happy memories.

Happy Birthday Sophie (I am almost caught up)

Happy First Birthday Sophie!!

Wow I don't know where the time goes. I just thought I had her. Sophie was born on Feb 3rd 2008 at 2:00 in the morning. I remember wanting to just get her out. Now I think that the time has gone way to fast. She has 5 teeth, has oodles of hair, sleeps through the night and loves to take naps. She loves to take baths and eat food. She is almost walking, she can stand for 5 minutes but won't trust herself in the walking department.
We chose to celebrate her birthday on her birthday. We had Grandma and Grandpa over with Lynnette, Josh and Malcom, and Uncle Rob. Thanks all for supporting us.
She opened her presents (Okay she wasn't much better than Christmas. So mom and dad opened them all.) Then we sang to her and gave her the cake. All she did was scream. I put her hand in the cake and she screamed louder. Then she started flipping the icing off her fingers. We took a few pictures and then gave her a bath. She came back happy and ready to play with her toys. Her favorite thing was the card Lynnette and Josh gave her with her present. She would not let go of it.

Okay a little more caught up....

SuperBowl Party....

This year we celebrated at Ken and Emily's house (THANKS). We enjoyed Sub sandwhiches and all the party foods. Then we settled in to cheer (can you guess who we wanted to win??). The cousins all got to play while the adults watched the game. Wow, What a night.

Still a little bihind.....

New Years Eve...
This year we spent the night with the Terry's. We spent the night in a hotel. WE let the kids go swimming, then we went to dinner at Training Table, we played games (until 2 in the morning), we got little sleep and started the day with breakfast and more swimming. It is always fun and very exhausting. On New Years Day we went shopping for me (need new clothes after surgery) and went to Brenda and Mikes for more games and playing. We had a great day.

Just a little behind....

Christmas Day....

We celbrated in the morning with the Parry's. The traditional breakfast. Open gifts and then run off to the Terry's. We stopped at my grandma Terry's for lunch. Then off to my parents to exchange gifts and visit. Lots of food, lots of love, lots of presents and a lot of tired bodies. What a great day we shared with everyone.
